Agreement

By using BotSights ("the Service"), operated by NVD Online ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

BotSights is a bot analytics platform that helps website owners track and analyze bot, AI crawler, and social media preview traffic on their websites. The Service includes dashboards, data collection, reporting, and related features.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity per account, unless on a team plan
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for websites you own or have authorization to monitor. You may not:

  • Use the Service to monitor websites without the owner's permission
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or artificial means

Plans and payment

BotSights offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page.

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Data and privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the data practices described there.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of BotSights on your website complies with applicable privacy laws and your own privacy policy.

Availability and support

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses caused by Service unavailability.

Data accuracy

BotSights provides bot classification and analytics on a best-effort basis. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrectly classified due to technical limitations, evolving bot behavior, user agent spoofing, or other factors beyond our control. You should not rely on BotSights as the sole basis for security decisions, blocking actions, or business-critical analysis.

API keys and credentials

Your API key is confidential. You may not share, publish, or distribute your API key or account credentials to any third party without our written consent. You are responsible for any activity that occurs using your API key.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, bot database, classification system, and documentation, is owned by NVD Online. Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership over the analytics data generated from your websites.

You may not scrape, crawl, copy, or extract data from the BotSights bot database, website, or API for the purpose of building a competing product or redistributing our data without written permission.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
